Indiana, Pennsylvania
Single-origin roasts, house-baked pastries, and a counter that remembers your name — all on School Street.
Our Story
Commonplace Coffee was born from a simple conviction: the best moments in a day aren't the dramatic ones — they're the quiet rituals. The first sip. The warmth of a cup in your hands. The familiar nod from the person behind the counter.
We source single-origin beans from farms that treat their land and their people with respect, roast them in small batches, and serve them alongside pastries baked fresh every morning in our kitchen on School Street.
This isn't a chain. It's a neighborhood institution — the kind of place that becomes part of your routine, and then part of who you are.

"I've been coming here every morning for two years. The pour-over is unmatched in this area, and the staff actually learns your order. It's become the quiet anchor of my day."
"The cinnamon roll here changed my life. Not an exaggeration. I drive from two towns over just to get one on a Saturday. The cold brew keeps me coming back on weekdays."
"Finally, a coffee shop in Indiana that takes its craft seriously without being pretentious about it. Great beans, great people, great atmosphere. This is the real deal."
